Breastfeeding gowns
Breastfeeding gowns:
When you are looking for breastfeeding gowns, we would recommend you to look for a comfortable, good quality gown. If the gown is made of natural materials would be better, perhaps try to look for 100% cotton, which normally does not react with allergy. Remember that when you breastfeed your baby, your nipples can get very sore and delicate, so try to find a good quality clothes, not too tight and avoid anything with pressure in your breast. Some mothers with experience recommend to wear a nursing bra even in bed, using as well breast pads to avoid licking breast milk in your underwear. Nursing pyjamas are very comfortable also for some mothers, perhaps you need to find out the type of clothes you will be more comfortable in while you are breastfeeding at night in bed. See in our list of articles some recommended breastfeeding position so you will not hurt your back and your baby will be comfortable.
In some stores there are some beautiful sets of breastfeeding gowns and robe sets, so you can feel sexy even when you are feeding your baby.
Do not forget to include a pair of good quality breastfeeding gowns, a robe and sleepers in the bag you are planning to take to the hospital where you will give birth to your baby. Make a list and cross the stuff when you already have it in your hospital bag.
Those gowns you take to the hospital will be very useful the first few weeks at home with your baby when you will be breastfeeding in bed and want to be comfortable.
