Infant halloween costumes
Cats, Bats and Babies, Oh My!
Is there anything cuter in the world than infant halloween costumes? Not to many mothers! When autumn rolls around, lots of new moms can't wait to dress up their little babies in cute or scary costumes, and who can blame them? Infant halloween costumes are readily available at specialty stores or online. Angels, "peas in the pod" and various pets or animals are always popular choices.
Mice, dogs, cats, bunnies, bugs, monkeys, bears and frogs are just some of people's favorite costumes. Depending on what you're willing to spend, you can find just about anything, scary or cute, in infant size. Something important to remember of course is the material used in the costume. Will it irritate your infant's skin? Will it make them feel too hot? Will it be easy for them to breathe and wiggle in? Will their diaper fit inside of it relatively easily?
If you really get excited about Halloween, why not plan dual costumes? You could go as Mama Kangaroo, and your baby could get dressed up and ride in your "pouch." You could also go as mama and baby lions or tigers. The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination. Maybe none of the costumes featured at the stores or online strike your fancy, in which case it could be a good idea to make your own costume for your baby. Get started early, though, because it may be more time-consuming than you realize. A few years from now you'll be an expert costume designer, and your kids will be so proud!
