Newborn bring me home clothes
What To Bring Home Baby In?
My baby was born in November of last year. In Texas, where we live, November temperatures can range from being bitterly cold to unusually hot. So I was unsure of what to take to the hospital to bring my son home in. So I packed a few different items just in case. I called these my 'newborn take me home clothes'.
He was my first child so I did not know what to expect. I wasn't sure how big he was going to be so I brought a variety of clothes. Among my 'newborn take me home clothes' were three different outfits. One was a newborn sized long sleeve sleeper just in case it was cold outside. I also brought a newborn sized short sleeve onsie in case it was hot. Finally, I brought a preemie onsie also just in case he was very small. I did not envision using this one, but you never know.
My son ended up being 7 and half pounds and wore his long sleeved sleeper home. Even though he was a good size the newborn outfit was way too big on him and I ended up changing him into some of the smaller clothes when we got home. I could not believe how small he looked in all his clothes. It is a good idea to take a variety of clothes with you because you never know what Mother Nature will bring you. This includes the size of your baby and the weather.

The giant playroom of the Parenting Center buzzed with activity as children took advantage of playing with their peers and siblings as moms, aunts, babysitters and nannies looked on. Then pizza time arrived, complete with party hats. The first Wednesday pizza lunch is a tradition at the center, where birthdays for that month are celebrated by all.
