Cute Turkey Day Outfits for Baby

Remember putting on school plays about the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth Rock as part of your Thanksgiving Day Celebration? Some of you would be pilgrims and one lucky kid would get to play the turkey. Well there's no reason that your newborn baby can't get to be a part of the festivities. Thanksgiving infant clothing comes in a surprisingly wide variety. There are simple bibs with images of cornucopias and spreads of lavish food just like the feast on your table. There are bibs with turkeys on them or pilgrims, too. All are dual-purpose: designed to fit your baby and give everyone a smile, but also to aid in your gargantuan clean up afterward! Thanksgiving infant clothing is also available in the form of costumes. Tuck your little one into a full blown turkey outfit or pilgrim outfit, or even turn them briefly into a side dish. Traditional side dish items from this holiday are of course yams, cranberries, squash, corn, potatoes and more.

Basically, anything you can dress your baby up in for Halloween can be duplicated in the subsequent month as long as you stick to an overall Thanksgiving theme. Something else to consider when dreaming up Thanksgiving clothes for your baby or child is to dress up. If you dress your girl in a skirt and your boy in a little suit and tie, you'll instill in them the value of the Holiday: that it's an important day, and not one for regular clothes or sweats. Either way, enjoy the season and don't forget to think about what you're thankful for.

The giant playroom of the Parenting Center buzzed with activity as children took advantage of playing with their peers and siblings as moms, aunts, babysitters and nannies looked on. Then pizza time arrived, complete with party hats. The first Wednesday pizza lunch is a tradition at the center, where birthdays for that month are celebrated by all.
