Preparing toddler Bible lessons
For people of faith, there is never any age that is too young to begin learning about God and their faith in God. Toddler Bible lessons are a great way to introduce the toddler to the Bible stories and the lessons they contain.
However, preparing age appropriate toddler Bible lessons may be challenging for the parent that has never done this. Not to worry. There are many, many resources available that offer age-appropriate toddler Bible lessons.
At biblekidsfunzone.com you will find a full range of toddler Bible lessons. These lessons come with an age-appropriate craft, activities, and songs with which to teach your toddler that particular lesson. You must become a member to access their lesson plans and curriculum. The membership fee is $11.50 for three months access to the site. However, you don't have to join without first trying out their toddler lesson plans. They offer a complete free first lesson so that you might know the quality of lessons they provide.
Another resource for preparing toddler Bible lessons can be found at www.sunnyhollowpress.com/toddlers.htm. These lessons come on a CD and the site offers you free samples that you can print out and use at home. In addition, the site gives some basic information on how to get the toddler's attention during a Bible lesson, and how to encourage his/her interest in learning. The CD includes a teacher's guide, activities, picture cards, smaller picture cards for making a picture book, and patterns. The CD covers a comprehensive list of Bible stories that range from Creation through Jesus.
